Resilient Leadership
It’s not surprising that, in the midst of continual change and fierce competition, professionals who can sustain their energy, creativity and optimism while remaining responsive to the needs of their workforce, customers and family, are more successful in both business and life. This ability to remain strong, flexible, calm, focused, and energized is called resiliency; for some it appears to come naturally while others struggle to remain effective under these same pressures.
Yet resiliency is not a natural ability. Studies have identified how individuals and organizations can increase their resiliency and benefit from its life and career sustaining affects.
Becoming resilient isn’t a matter of taking a vitamin pill. It does require changing mindsets and behavior. Mark Twain said, “Education consists mainly in what we have unlearned.” Becoming resilient is about finding our center and unlearning much of what we have learned. The Resilient Leadership program presents these core concepts and shows how you can integrate them into your career and life.
