Beyond Stress Management -- Creating a Resilient Workforce
The leading cause of absenteeism, utilization of medical services, work place accidents and errors, violence, distracted performance and dissatisfaction is stress. This workshop is designed to provide employees at all levels information and tools to improve and maintain personal, professional and organizational stress resiliency. It goes beyond teaching techniques to manage stress it provides a method to become stress tolerant. It will examine the negative influence and consequences stress has on health, relationships and work performance and teach effective techniques to interrupt and reverse stress behavior patterns.
The workshop will assist participants in:
- Recognizing behavior patterns that create a cycle of dis-stress.
- Becoming aware of the signs and symptoms and consequences of diminished resiliency personally and organizationally.
- Learning action steps to increase resiliency.
- Learning a method to build stress tolerance
- Using the Resiliency Map to assess areas of strengths and vulnerabilities.
- Developing strategies to improve strengths and manage vulnerabilities.

This workshop is designed to accommodate small and large groups. Small groups have the advantage of increased discussion and personal dialogue.
Format:
Full day, or can be divided into four two-hour modules.
Follow-up sessions are advised and individual coaching is available.
