EQ -- The Spice of Life
Literally hundreds of business and leadership books promote Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as the special ingredient that distinguishes good leaders from great leaders. In fact Harvard Business Review labeled emotional intelligence as a " break through idea". The application and relevance of emotional intelligence to our personal and professional lives is as significant as it is to leading a major corporation.
Studies indicate that individuals whose emotional intelligence is highly developed are happier, healthier, have more satisfying and rewarding relationships and are professionally successful. Emotions are the "Spice of Life!" They provide the color, texture and meaning to every experience. The more aware, adept and comfortable one is with emotions, the more meaningful and enjoyable life is.
This workshop will provide participants the opportunity to learn why EQ is defined as the capacity to create optimal results in your relationships with yourself and others for personal and professional success. Participants can expect to learn how to assess, enhance and apply EI to improve their personal, professional relationships.
Participants will learn:
- The neuroscience of emotions
- The relationship between stress and emotions
- The impact of emotions on learning
- The connection of emotions with motivation
- The role of EI in building positive relationships
- To increase emotional intelligence
- To develop action plans to apply EI learning to relationships
"Emotions are the driving force of a life well lived."
